Daniel Won-gu Kim. Senior Communications Organizer. Communications Coordinator for Transit Riders for Public Transportation. Also leads e-organizing work & development and provides creative direction for design/agitprops across the Strategy Center's projects and campaigns.  Graduated from the National School for Strategic Organizing in 2001, having recruited "Grandma Kim" (Hee Pok Kim) and, with her, led a breakthrough of Bus Riders Union organizing into Koreatown.  Instructor and assistant professor in the Department of English, University of Colorado, Boulder from 2002 until 2008, when he returned to work at the Strategy Center. Ph.D. in English Literature from Cornell University. Also supports Koreatown organizing work and helps coordinate Strategy Center Publications and Frontlines Press.  Father of two.  Speaks Korean and French.
