Beverly Wright [1], long time scholar and activist in the environmental justice movement, discusses the challenges facing the Black population of New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina. How do people find each other and return home? How can we ensure decisions about post-Katrina reconstruction include New Orleans residents displaced by the storm.
