23rd Annual Political Party Report!

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our 23rd Annual Political Party!

 

The evening included an introduction by Associate Director Tammy Bang Luu, a short film on the Community Rights Campaign's LAMC 45.04 Truancy Ticketing fight by Patricia Foulkrod, a performance by the Strategy Center's Drum & Chant Corps, and speeches by Director of Organizing Manuel Criollo, Bus Riders Union Chair Barbara Lott-Holland, BRU and Clean Air Campaign Senior Organizer Sunyoung Yang, Transit Riders for Public Transportation National Coordinator Francisca Porchas, and Director Eric Mann. 

We continued the tradition of singing The Internationale in English, Spanish & Korean and closed with a lively fundraising appeal.  We danced ‘til midnight with DJ Clinton "Chico" Cameron and DJ Octavio.

 

Thank you for coming and for supporting this year’s Political Party. We will see you next year at our 24^th on May 4, 2013!
