Following the decision to withdraw her support for expanding LA's daytime curfew "truancy" laws, LAUSD Board member Tamar Galatzan will now be chairing a discussion on Truancy and Attendance at the October 20th LAUSD Board meeting.  Community Rights organizers will be presenting, which is a critical opportunity to move our campaign for a moratorium on "truancy tickets" forward.  Please consider supporting in the following ways:
