Education Week: N.Y.C. Students Sue N.Y.P.D., Claim School Mistreatment

Children in the nation's largest school district are being assaulted and wrongfully arrested by school safety officers for offenses that a generation ago would have been handled by a trip to the principal's office, according to a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday.
