Tammy Bang Luu, senior organizer and co-coordinator of National School for Strategic Organizing, also national outreach coordinator, co-host of the Voices from the Frontlines radio show, and NSSO graduate class of 2001. Tammy immigrated from Viet Nam as a child and grew up in Seattle, received a BA from University of Washington and was involved in the 1999 anti-WTO Seattle protests. A member of the National Planning Committee for the US Social Forum, in 2007 she co-chaired the Outreach Working Group for the first USSF that took place in Atlanta, drawing over 12,000 participants from 1,000 organizations.
