Sunyoung Yang, Clean Air organizer and researcher, also focuses on Koreatown membership development, graduate of NSSO 2004. She was born in Korea, lived on the Northern Mariana Islands, Saipan and Guam, until high school when she came to Los Angeles, fluent in Korean and Spanish, B.A. Smith College 2004, studied in Ecuador, Bolivia, and Peru studying bio-cultural diversity and development, and worked with Indigenous Environmental Network focusing on climate change research.
