Lisa Adler, Community Rights organizer focusing on South Los Angeles and membership development, also coordinates Take the Initiative voter and Westchester High School's Taking Action after school program. Lisa graduated from the Strategy Center’s National School for Strategic Organizing (NSSO)—class of 2004. She grew up in New York City, is fluent in Spanish, received a BA from Swarthmore College in 2001 and an MA in teaching social studies from Teachers College, Columbia University 2003, worked as a NYC public school teacher and co-founded the New York Collective of Radical Educators (NYCoRE).
