Damon Azali-Rojas

Damon Azali, Community Rights lead organizer, focusing on criminal justice system, youth leadership development, and building black/Latino alliances. He is also co-host of the Voices from the Frontlines radio show and an NSSO graduate, class of 2001. Damon grew up in South Los Angeles, received a BA from San Francisco State University and taught in the Oakland public schools where he also became a youth organizer especially around the incarceration of Black and Latino youth. He has worked at the Strategy Center since 2002.
